Capabilities

Materials, Adhesives and Manufacturing Processes

Every job we quote starts here. The right graphic is a combination of substrate, adhesive, print process and finishing, chosen against the environment it has to survive. This page documents what we work with, so you can specify accurately — or hand us the application and let us specify it for you.

CSC ServiceWorks · Serialised asset labels

Every job starts with the application, not the product name. Tell us what it has to survive and we will specify the material to meet it.

Substrates

What we work in

Vinyl
General exterior and interior use; available reflective and pigmented; the workhorse for vehicle graphics and decals
Polyester (Mylar)
Overlays, labels and nameplates; brushed, matte and bright silver finishes; excellent wear resistance
Polycarbonate (Lexan)
Control panel overlays and durable labels; subsurface printable; 5 to 20 mil; exterior grades available
Polypropylene
Interior labeling where chemical resistance matters
Polystyrene (HIP)
Point of purchase and retail signage
Expanded PVC (EPVC / Sintra)
Rigid signage, interior and exterior
Aluminum
Long-service exterior signage, parking and identification
Foam
Displays and lightweight interior signage
Paper
Short-life interior applications and promotional work
Foil
Decorative and specialty finishes
Polyurethane
Doming resin for nameplates and raised-finish decals

Adhesives

Selection is driven by the surface

All-temperature, opaque, permanent and removable adhesive systems, including custom 3M adhesives at 2 mil and 4 mil for overlay applications. Adhesive selection is driven by the surface — smooth painted metal, textured plastic, stainless, powder coat, rough-textured polyethylene — and by whether the graphic needs to come off cleanly later.

Surfaces we spec against

Smooth painted metal · textured plastic · stainless · powder coat · rough-textured polyethylene

Print processes

Screen, digital and subsurface

Screen printing
Medium to large runs, small to medium formats, spot color.
Digital printing
Short runs, large formats, four-color process.
Subsurface printing
For Lexan overlays, protecting graphics behind the substrate.
PMS color matching
Matched to your brand or engineering standard and held on file.

Artwork and run sizes

From a single prototype to a long production run

We accept AI, BMP, EPS, GIF, JPG, JPEG, PDF and TIFF files. Vector artwork is preferred for die-cut and small-format work. If you do not have production-ready artwork, our creative department will develop it.

Single prototypes through long production runs. Prototyping is available as a standalone service for engineering validation before you commit to a production quantity.

Accepted formats

Questions

Answered directly

Specify it yourself, or hand us the application.

Either works. Tell us the surface, the environment, the service life and the standard it has to meet, and we will select the substrate, the adhesive and the process.
